Day 298 Time to do nothing

When I worked in Japan, I always looked for ways to contribute during slower seasons. Supporting others is certainly important, but I now believe that intentionally not doing anything can also be valuable. In a large company, we often feel that a passive attitude could negatively affect our chances of promotion or evaluation. However, constantly helping others can lead to exhaustion. Over time, coworkers may stop appreciating our support, as they begin to take it for granted. In short, it is unnecessary to always be a supportive person.
