Day 249 What Changed in My Mind Since Coming to New Zealand
Since coming to New Zealand, I’ve gradually realized how important it is to rely on others. When I was younger, I was taught not to trouble anyone and to be as independent as possible. However, I’ve noticed that in some other countries, people teach their children something different—like saying, “Please forgive others when they make mistakes, because you might make similar mistakes too.”
I found this way of thinking very intriguing. It helped me understand why people from other nationalities often have such a positive mindset. After hearing this, I started to feel less pressure, and I became more comfortable accepting small mistakes.
