Day 5 I became shy....
Today, I studied the use of "since" in the morning class.
A sentence that was discussed is as follows:
"It is ten years since I touched a law book."
One student asked, "Why can't I say, 'It has been ten years...?'"
Another student said, "Touching a law book indicates a specific point in the past. When I use 'has been,' the action should be continuous from the past."
The teacher agreed with this explanation.
Additionally, I deepened my understanding of grammer.
While I spent meaningful time, I am reflecting on my hesitation to assert myself during the class.
When I am exhausted and lacking energy, I tend to become passive.
I tell me again, "Let's try anyway.", "Don't be shy."
Thank you.
