Day 41 The Importance of Mental Health Awareness

Why must we pay attention to our mental health?

I think the reason is that it affects our daily lives both positively and negatively. For example, if we are overwhelmed with tasks every day, we may have very little time for hobbies or spending time with family. This accumulation of stress can lead to physical problems, which may eventually result in mental health issues. Therefore, it’s important to avoid overworking.

 

Now, I will suggest two methods to promote mental health. Please note that these are just my ideas, so there may be better methods out there. Still, I’ll write down my thoughts below.

  1. Consulting with family or trusted friends about changes in your mental condition compared to the past can be helpful. People who struggle with mental health often try to resolve their issues alone, but this can be dangerous. They push themselves to complete more tasks on top of their daily work, and the burden becomes too heavy, making it difficult to resolve the situation without support.
     
  2. Exercising outdoors, even for a short time, makes me happy and helps maintain my physical condition. Staying in one place and constantly thinking about the same issues can increase the risk of worsening the situation. Therefore, I highly recommend walking around your home without focusing on anything specific.

Especially in today’s world, where we are constantly overwhelmed by work and tasks, it’s even more important to take time for refreshing activities.
